What is Lawn Grub Control? Lawn grub control is the targeted application of licenced, pest-specific biological or chemical treatments to eradicate turf-destroying insects like leatherjackets and chafer grubs. These treatments prevent grubs from decimating grass roots and deter destructive secondary foraging by wildlife such as birds and badgers, protecting the lawn's structural integrity.

A few lawn pests are all part of your lawn's natural biodiversity and generally don't cause an issue. Sometimes, however, pest populations can reach critical levels and damage lawns long-term.

We can apply the only licenced pest-specific insecticide for leatherjackets (crane fly larvae) and chafer grubs. This targeted application targets only these pests and is safe for children and pets, restoring your lawn to its former glory by removing the unwanted grubs.

Left untreated, the damage compounds — birds, badgers, and foxes will tear up entire sections of lawn to dig for the grubs, often devastating a lawn overnight.
